STEVE OVETT
Steve Ovett was an experimental, collective attempt to squeeze three artistic ego's into the identity of a semi-famous middle distance runner from England who had his hey-day in the 1970s and 80s. Doomed from the out set, Steve was never comfortable with the situation - he wasn't a fan of video art, didn't like the thought of installations and found that trying to make art when you have no money and little resources was nowhere near as satisfying as winning the 5000m gold at the commonwealth games.
